Andrew Sherratt
Andrew is a Amateur magician based in Stoke-on-Trent and is a Country Member
My grandparents had a caravan at Pontins Holiday Camp in North Wales and it was there through one of the Magicians appearing there that I found out about the IBM , I was then not old enough to join but through The IBM Directory the magician found me a contact in Stoke-on-Trent who was the founder of The Mercian Mystics Magic Society.
I joined The Mercians not long after at the age of 15, I'm proud to say that I'm still a member to the present day , holding the office of President on two occasions and now hold the office of both Hon Secretary and Treasurer.
I have been a member of the British RIng of The IBM and full member IBM for over 40 years, a member of The Magic Circle for 27 years.
I am also a member of The Society of American Magicians, The Northern Magic Circle and The Order of The Magi in Manchester.
I am also currently on The Magic Circle Virtual HQ Committee.
My Interests in the art of Magic are varied, I began doing general magic and also did Childrens shows as a Part time Pro when I got older.
My interests now are more to Parlour, Mentalism and Bizarre Magic. I also have a deep love for the history of magic and I have quite a library of magic books covering the history and other branches of magic.
