I got the bug 37 years ago one Christmas. At the age of 22 I got into magic more seriously and started sopping at Davenports. Dipped in and out of magic for the next few years. Got a job and a family so it hit the back burner again. 2008 was my first BMC where I met Paul Gordon and became hooked on his material. Went to his Card Capers day twice and started getting into magic in a bigger way. Tried going semi pro but life didn't allow it. During lock down I started dusting off the books again and have been practising since. I am now in a position where I don't need to work and can practise and study all day.
I would like to join a community of fellow magicians of all levels where I can learn, improve and receive constructive criticism. Hopefully I will take part in competitions and generally join in with everyone else. My passion for magic has always been there but it has been ignited with a vengeance this time and I hope to make some money from it.
