What a super evening, It was a lecture in several parts, how to be a vent, how to be funny, how to come up with ideas, intermingled with several performances.

Max started off by going through the basics of how to pronounce the more difficult letters and double consonants. It showed that Max studied English as he had obviously done some deep thinking on how to approach being a vent and understanding vocabulary to be as good as he is.

He then went on to share ideas on how to generate concepts and themes to build your comedy & acts using superlative adjectives. Max went on to explain how some of the funniest gags he wrote for the Blackpool Magic Convention came about and how and why they work.

It was great to hear so many laughs from the members. There were some hilarious routines, great improv, an astounding levitating monkey, and juggling too. Seriously it included nearly everything.

Max is touring with a one-man show and is a regular at comedy shows, he is well worth an evening out.
